Cottages
A serene getaway with cozy accommodations and tranquil surroundings.
All cottages have basic amenities, including a full kitchen and barbecue. You will have your own patio chairs, picnic tables and firepit so you can enjoy the great outdoors whether the sun is up or down!
Our cottages offer all the comforts of home, including 3 or 4 piece baths, electric heat, double size sofa beds (for extra sleeping space) and wood burning fireplaces. Bagged hardwood and kindling is available for purchase. For those who like to cook we provide barbecues and fully-equipped kitchens with full size appliances, microwaves and a large assortment of dishes and utensils to create with. There is a coined laundry beside our office for guests to use.
Outside your cottage you will find patio chairs, your own picnic table and campfire. We find most of our guests prefer to be away from television during their stay, however, the Rec Hall has a 50″ satellite TV for your use. If you prefer to watch movies in your cottage, we also have a few TV/DVD/VCRs to borrow with a selection of movies in the rec hall.

Booking Information
Maximum Allowance
Due to Fire & Insurance Regulations, we cannot exceed the maximum number of people allowed in each cottage. This number includes children of all ages as well as babies.
Announcement
As the city of Haliburton had noticed all resorts may collect the Municipal Accommodation Tax (MAT) of 4% for each stay. This may be applied upon the municipal requirements and only be added on the final invoice for guests.
Minimum Stay
We do not offer 1-night bookings. During Spring and Fall we require a minimum stay of 2 nights, or 3 nights on long weekends. During July and August we rent weekly, Saturday to Saturday, but will take a minimum stay of 3 nights if we have a vacancy after the middle of June for July and after the middle of July for August. Please call for last-minute bookings.
Pets
Dogs are welcome guests at a cost of $15 per day plus tax, per dog (subject to change). There is a 2 dog limit in the 2 bedroom cottages and 1 dog in the 1 bedroom cottages. Dogs MUST be leashed at all times (insurance requirement), kept off the furniture/beds, stay off the beach when people are swimming, and cleaned up after, both inside and outside the cottage.
Cancellation Policy 2025
Last minute cancellations greatly affect us and our ability to rent the cottage.If you give us at least 8 weeks’ notice, your deposit will be refunded less an administration fee of $56.50. Notice of less than 8 weeks means your deposit is forfeited unless you can move your stay for the same length of time, (subject to availability) during the same calendar year. Please note that a reservation is a firm contract and no allowance will be made for late arrival or early departure.
